Meet the human behind

Hey, my name is Dana

An artist, photographer, and storyteller with a lifelong pull toward the wild. My creative path began in nature and was shaped by years as a contemporary dancer, teaching me to move through the world with presence, emotion, and intention. Today, I bring that same awareness into every space I explore, whether I’m in the ocean or on land.

The ocean is one of my greatest sources of inspiration, but my work goes far beyond underwater scenes. I’m fascinated by the relationship between humans, wildlife, and the natural world, and I use my camera to tell stories that reflect that connection. My experience working with marine conservation organizations, alongside years of learning from biologists and photographers, has shaped a respectful and intuitive approach to wildlife encounters.

I’m passionate about freediving, scuba diving, traveling to remote places, and immersing myself in cultures connected to nature. These experiences fuel my creativity and continually remind me why I do this work.

I spent years traveling the world as a photographer, thinking that exploration alone was the dream — until I started sharing these experiences with others. Hosting expeditions has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. Growing up, I struggled to feel a strong sense of community, but through these journeys I’ve rediscovered myself and finally found that missing piece.

Being out in nature and witnessing others experience its magic has created some of the deepest bonds in my life — especially in places like the Galápagos Islands and French Polynesia, where I feel a true sense of belonging.

What I love most today is creating spaces where people can reconnect with nature, with others, and with themselves. Whether we’re sharing a quiet moment in the water or watching wildlife from the shore, I hope to guide you into experiences that stay with you long after the journey ends.
